Caregiving is Cancer Support Group topic
Riverwood Healthcare Center and Cuyuna Regional Medical Center sponsor a monthly Cancer Support Group that will meet Tues., Jan. 15, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m., at Riverwood’s hospital conference room B in Aitkin.
Caregiving is the topic for the January meeting with guest speaker, Val Thompson, Riverwood’s hospital social worker. She will discuss financial, emotional and physical needs of caregivers and offer information on American Cancer Society and local resources available to caregivers as they assist family members who have cancer.
