The laboratory may provide the first clues to a disease or illness. This is where your blood, urine, and sputum are taken for interpretation.

Lab services are available seven days a week, 24 hours per day for inpatient and outpatient care.

Riverwood’s Lab offers services in all areas of laboratory medicine, including microbiology, bacteriology, hematology, chemistry, urinalysis, serology and blood banking.

The lab operates under the direction of a physician licensed in anatomical and clinical pathology and is staffed by three to six lab technicians and one to three phlebotomists.
